After a delegation from our department had initiated the partnership with Hyderabad Central University on site in India, we were delighted to welcome the first visiting students to the Montanuniversität Leoben this summer. During their three-month stay, the students demonstrated great dedication and successfully earned 20 ECTS credits.
To mark the end of their stay, Department Head Prof. Daniel Kiener, in collaboration with MIRO’s FocusIndia team, organized a barbecue. This provided a pleasant, relaxed setting for the students, their advisors from the various institutes, and all participating faculty and research staff to reflect on the past few months together and say their goodbyes in person.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all supervisors and colleagues for their great dedication and support of the students. We are already looking forward to next year, when we hope to once again welcome a group of students from Hyderabad to our department.
