In February, a team from the Department of Materials Science had the honor of participating in a delegation trip to India as part of Miro's FocusIndia project. The time was used optimally with a mix of official appointments, meetings on research collaborations, and conference visits. Led by Rector Peter Moser, the team included Professors Kiener, Holzer, Antretter, Pinter, and Priv.-Doz. Manuel Woschank, alongside the Miro team (lead by Dr. Susanne Feiel) and research assistants of the Department Materials Science. A special highlight of the trip was an official reception at the Austrian Embassy in New Delhi, where participants had the opportunity to meet Austrian Ambassador Robert Zischg. He also accompanied the group on an exciting bus trip to the Taj Mahal in Agra. The trip was rounded off by a visit to IIT New Delhi, a meeting with Advantage Austria, an evening with Austrians living abroad, and attending the PlastIndia 2026 conference with over 600,000 participants.
