For the first official International Day of Ceramics, Maximilian Munz, a member of the Chair of Structural and Functional Ceramics, won the logo design competition. The International Day of Ceramics is a new global initiative held annually on March 12 to raise awareness of ceramics and to celebrate the vital role of ceramic materials in modern life. We congratulate Maximilian Munz, the Chair of Structural and Functional Ceramics, and the Austrian Ceramic Society on this recognition. The award will be handed to Maximilian Munz during the next International Congress of Ceramics in Sapporo, Japan.
