Publication in "Women in Engineering Materials"

Latest publication by Lea A. Lumper-Wimler and Verena Maier-Kiener featured in the special issue "Women in Engineering Materials" of the Journal Advanced Engineering Materials

We are pleased to announce that the latest paper by Lea A. Lumper-Wimler has been featured in the special issue "Women in Engineering Materials" of the renowned journal Advanced Engineering Materials. The article investigates phase transformations in a Pd–Cu–Ag–Ru alloy, which are crucial for hydrogen membranes and electronic applications. In her study, Lea A. Lumper-Wimler, part of Verena Maier-Kiener's research group at the Department of Materials Science, analyzed how the deformation rate and silver content affect the CuPd phase in a Cu-Pd-Ag-Ru alloy. High-energy X-ray diffraction reveals an unexpected trigonal AgPd phase. The complete special issue "Women in Engineering Materials" of the journal Advanced Engineering Materials is available here: Women in Engineering Materials.

We congratulate Lea A. Lumper-Wimler and Verena Maier-Kiener on this outstanding publication and their significant research work!
