Research within the framework of ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY of the European Commission

The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program of the European Commission is an ideal tool for establishing new collaborative research programs among European universities, maintaining existing collaborations and exchange of knowledge. Our staff member, Rostislav Daniel, visited recently the University RomaTre in Rom, Italy, to perform analytical studies of hierarchical multi-principal element entropy-stabilized thin film alloys. He also broadened his skills related to automated sample preparation using the focus ion beam and evaluation of data sets obtained during probing of stress profiles across multilayer thin films. Apart of the theoretical and experimental work, his activities included teaching and promotion of the international study program AMASE (Advanced Materials Science and Engineering), which is a double degree master programme being part of the European School of Materials (EUSMAT).
