Christina Kainz appointed into the Early Career Advisory Board of the journal Surface and Coatings Technology

Christina Kainz, post doctoral researcher within the scope of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Advanced Coated Cutting Tools at the Chair of Functional Materials and Material Systems, has been accepted as a member of the Early Career Advisory Board of the journal Surface and Coatings Technology (Elsevier). The focus of this international journal is on the engineering of surfaces and interfaces with the aim of modifying and improving their properties and functionality. The journal with an impact factor of 4,158 is one of the leading publications in the field of surface and coating technology; the submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous review process. Early Career Board members are appointed for a two-year period following a selective selection process.
